Baby Feed — Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
Baby Feed is built so that we never see your family's records. This page says exactly what the app stores, where, and what the one small service we run does.
Your records stay with you
Everything you log — feeds, changes, sleep, pumping, weight and height, your babies' names and photos — is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). We cannot read it, and Apple handles it under Apple's privacy terms. If you are not signed in to iCloud, records stay on your device only.
Sharing with a partner
When you share a baby, the records are shared through iCloud directly between your account and the person you invite, using Apple's sharing. We are not in the middle and do not receive the records.
The Live Activity relay
So that your partner's iPhone can show the Live Activity for a feed, sleep or pump you started, the app sends a small message to a server we run (push.journaltoday.app). That server stores only: a random identifier for the app installation, Apple push tokens, the identifiers of the babies the device shows, and the time of the last contact. To word the notification it receives the kind of record, its start and end time, the type (for example "Bottle") and the baby's first name, and does not keep them. Entries unused for 60 days are deleted. Nothing there identifies you as a person.
What we do not do
- No account or sign-up.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. The app contacts only Apple's services and our relay.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
Purchases
Optional "Thanks" purchases are handled by Apple's App Store; we receive no payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled in your Apple account settings.
Children
Baby Feed is used by parents and caregivers. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children; the records you keep about your baby stay in your own iCloud account as described above.
Deleting your data
Delete a baby in the app to delete its records from your device and your iCloud account. Deleting the app removes its local data; your iCloud data can be managed in Settings → Apple Account → iCloud. To have the relay forget your device, write to support@journaltoday.app — or simply stop using the app; its entries expire by themselves.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
